Indiana Pacers

When people think about Indiana they are often drawn to thoughts about the Indiana 500 and the great cars speeding down the track. People love the adrenaline and the power of machines going over one hundred and twenty miles an hour. There is no better symbol of power than a fast car. That is actually one of the thoughts that went through the minds of the leaders and founders of the Indiana Pacers when the amazing basketball team was created in 1967. The team was founded in Indianapolis by a man named Chuck Barnes who loved horse and car races. The team was meant to be a state wide team so the name was shortened to the Indiana Pacers and the great state of Indiana fell in love with their great pace car team.

If you want to go see how the other teams in basketball are trying to keep up with the Indiana Pacers then you should go out and get tickets to one of the games. One of the greatest teams that you could ever watch the Indiana Pacers play is the Miami Heat. Going to see the Indiana Pacers basketball team at their arena trading throws with the Heat will help you to love the team. Though the Pacers came to fame in 1990 and the Indiana Pacers team jersey’s can still be seen there is renewed energy every time they dunk and block dunks. You will be able to see basketball rivalry at its finest. The best way to see a basketball game is to see a full and happy game with lots of energy and lots of amazing players and a bit of angry back story to go along.

Once you are in love with the Indiana Pacers, or perhaps the Pacemates, you should show off your love. You should go out and get some window stickers for your car with the Indiana Pacers logo or a shirt with the Indiana Pacers roster on the back. Just make sure if you are in Miami at an Indiana Pacers v. Miami Heat game that you are not too loud and too much of an instigator in town. You may get into fights with Miami Heat fans who will quiz you about the 1990 pacers teams and jerseys and if you are a new fan then you may get shown up. Just show up and cheer for your team and have good clean fun.
