The one hand driving lay up shot is great on the fast break. When the player is coming up on the basket form the right side the shooter need to have both hands on the ball.

Keep the right foot on the floor and keep the body between the ball and the defender. It is important to jump as high as possible while maintaining eye contact. The shooter should land hard on the left foot and push themselves up with the right knee.

With both hands the ball should be carried to basket, when the shooter reaches the top the key, high jump, both hands need to be put above the head. Use the backboard for lay ups that are set up from the side.
